With the impending arrival of Hurricane Idalia we are suspending operations of the church for the next two days.
-Church office is closed Tuesday and Wednesday
-No Wednesday night activities for any of our age groups
-Two Fish is closed all day Wednesday
-Care Closest is closed Thursday
Of course, there is always a level of uncertainty about the path and when landfall will be. We will keep you informed of any changes or updates to our schedule via email and Facebook.
Take care of yourselves! Look after your neighbors! And let us know if you need any help before or after the storm. We cannot monitor the office phone so please contact us via Facebook.
From Pastor Dave- A prayer for a coming storm:
Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we come before you in this moment of uncertainty, seeking your wisdom and protection as Hurricane Idalia approaches us and so many others in our state. We ask for your guidance for our leaders to make the right decisions and the strength to face whatever challenges lie ahead. Grant your protection and presence to first responders in the coming days as they seek to help those in need. Help us, your church, to be a place of comfort, hope, and help that we may love our neighbors well, and lift up the name of Christ. May your hand of protection be upon the people of this community, shielding them from harm and danger. Grant them courage and peace in the midst of the storm, and may they find comfort in your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
