Are you passionate about helping young people discover and live out their faith in Jesus Christ? Do you love the idea of serving in a close-knit church family located in a small, welcoming town right on the beach? We are a congregation in an exciting season of rebuilding and re-imagining, and we are intentionally shaping our future with youth at the center.
We are seeking a Youth Director who is a committed Christian and eager to continue growing in a deep, personal relationship with Christ. This role is all about investing in students (6th–12th grades)—recruiting, equipping, encouraging, and walking alongside them as they learn what it means to follow Jesus in real life.
The Youth Director will prayerfully discern God’s direction for our youth ministry and bring vision, creativity, and leadership to help plan, develop, and implement a vibrant ministry within the life and theology of the United Methodist Church. You’ll be invited into a collaborative, supportive team environment, working closely with the Senior Pastor, Assistant to the Pastor, other staff, and dedicated ministry leaders who are excited about what God is doing next.
Because we are rebuilding and growing, this is a unique opportunity to help shape something from the ground up—to dream, experiment, and build a ministry that truly connects with today’s youth. Skills in audio/visual or digital media are a plus, as we value creative communication and engaging experiences.
Continuing education is encouraged (and sometimes required), because we believe healthy leaders keep learning and growing.
