Part-Time Middle School Youth Director

Help Build Faith at the Perfect Moment

Middle school is a powerful, formative season—and we’re looking for someone who feels called to walk with students right there. We are a United Methodist church in a small, welcoming beach town, in an exciting season of rebuilding and renewal, intentionally shaping our future with youth at the heart of our vision.

We are seeking a Part-Time Middle School Youth Director who is a committed Christian and eager to continue growing in a deep, authentic relationship with Christ. This role focuses on creating a safe, joyful, and meaningful space where middle school students (grades 6–8) can explore faith, build friendships, ask big questions, and learn how to live out the love of Jesus.

The Youth Director will prayerfully discern God’s direction for the ministry and bring creativity, patience, and vision to build and shape a vibrant middle school ministry. You’ll help plan and lead gatherings, develop engaging programming, equip student leaders, and nurture relationships with students and families—all within the theology and structure of the United Methodist Church.

This position is ideal for a collaborative, team-oriented leader who enjoys working alongside a supportive pastoral staff and dedicated ministry leaders. You’ll partner closely with the Senior Pastor, Assistant to the Pastor, and others who are deeply invested in the spiritual growth of our young people. Skills in audio/visual or digital media are a strong plus, as we value creative and engaging ways to connect with students.

Continuing education is encouraged—and sometimes required—because we believe healthy ministry grows from leaders who continue learning, listening, and discerning where God is at work.

If you’re looking for part-time ministry with meaningful impact, a supportive church family, and the opportunity to help build something new in a beautiful beachside community, we’d love to hear from you. Fill out the Form below and we will be in touch.
